Maine Community Cleanup is a volunteer group dedicated to keeping our communities clean and green. We meet and break into small groups to tackle road side litter, dumping sites, and streams/rivers.
Are you tired of looking at roadside trash that lingers for days, weeks and months? Take action and help make your community cleaner and greener.
Earlier this year, the first annual community cleanup was initiated in Hermon Maine. In less than two hours, a utility trailer was filled to capacity. Such an event requires a group of 20 or more people, more than local and state resources can provide. We plan to continue the event in April 2009. Other events are being organized, but your help is needed!
