Third Annual Community Cleanup, April 23 2011
The third annual Hermon-Bangor Community Cleanup last Saturday was a success. With 40 volunteers we collected an estimated 80-100 bags of roadside litter in 3 hours! The majority of the cleanup focused on Odlin Road and Outer Hammond Street/Route 2 in both Hermon and Bangor. In addition, sections of Billings Road and Union Street in Hermon were cleaned up.A special thank you goes out to everyone that attended including the group from Lane Construction, Wendy, Wynne, Cindy, Venice, Mr. Davis, Gene, City of Bangor, Hermon cub scout troop, Bangor Area Stormwater Group, Sports Arena, and Starbucks. Thank you for your support!
